Every photo tells a story

I love finding images where they might be overlooked.  Sometimes the best images are the details.  Many times i have gone out with something in mind and came back with something totally different. You just never know what the world and life is going to hand you!  For example, the photo below with the shadow stipes was just a random shot that I thought looked cool and didn't really think about it.  It later won an honorable mention out of 10,000 entries in a Canon National Park photo contest in 2006.
