Finding the extraordinary in everyday places and celebrating our wonderful planet.

I am a mostly self-taught photographer with a passion for capturing the world in new and creative ways. My journey in photography began with early family vacations, where I was inspired by the beauty around me.This inspiration was further fueled by the work of Colin Curwood in the pages of Automobile Magazine, particularly their "non-sequitur" section, which showed me that automotive photography could also be art.Over the years, I have honed my skills through various experiences. I have worked as a freelance photographer for the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, covering the story of the 2009 Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks football bowl championship. One of the highlights of my career was photographing several events for Purdue Federal Credit Union, where I had the opportunity to capture moments involving Super Bowl Champion Drew Brees
In 2006, I received an honorable mention in Canon's National Park Photo Contest, placing in the top 20 out of over 10,000 entries. This recognition was a significant milestone in my career and reinforced my love for landscape photography. I enjoy traveling and discovering new scenes, always curious about what lies over the next hill or around the next corner. My work is driven by a desire to document the beauty of our world. I strive to create my vision of each scene I encounter, finding unique perspectives and moments that tell a story. While I have often wondered about pursuing a path in photojournalism, my current focus remains on exploring and capturing the landscapes that inspire me.
